Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the website idevelop.dev, operated by iDevelop SRL, a Romanian limited liability company with registered office at 8 Traian Vuia Blvd., 800524 Galați, Romania. VAT number: RO 52057697. Trade Registry number: J2022000996172. For any privacy-related inquiry, contact contact@idevelop.dev.

iDevelop SRL is the data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not currently have a designated Data Protection Officer — you may exercise any right described below by writing to the contact address.

2. What data we collect

2.1 When you contact us

When you reach out via the email address, phone number, or WhatsApp link shown on the Contact page, we receive whatever personal data you choose to include (typically name, email or phone, and the content of your message). We process this to reply to your request and, where applicable, to prepare and perform a contract with you.

2.2 When you browse the site

If you consent via our cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised usage data — referrer (how you reached the site), pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP but with IP anonymisation enabled), device and browser type, session duration. We have disabled Google Signals and advertising personalisation, so no data is used for advertising. If you reject analytics, none of this data is collected. 2.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider may log standard technical information about requests (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, URL) for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. These logs are short-lived and are not cross-referenced with other personal data we hold.

3. Why we process this data (legal bases)

  • To reply to your inquiry and prepare a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessary for pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract).
  • Analytics — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your explicit consent given through the banner). You can withdraw consent at any time with the same ease you gave it.
  • Security and abuse prevention in server logs — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and safe). You may object under Article 21.

4. How long we keep data

  • Inquiries and contract-related correspondence: retained for up to 3 years after our last interaction for commercial-law and evidentiary purposes, or longer where Romanian tax / accounting law requires (invoices etc.).
  • Analytics events: retained in GA4 with a 14-month retention window (configured in the GA4 property).
  • Server access logs: retained by the hosting provider for no more than 30 days unless an ongoing incident requires otherwise.
  • Cookie consent record (local storage only, stays on your device): kept until you clear your browser storage or use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with carefully chosen sub-processors that help us operate the site:

  • Hosting — our hosting provider stores and serves the site. (Confirm specific vendor before publishing.)
  • Email — the inbox behind contact@idevelop.dev is managed by our email provider. (Confirm specific vendor before publishing.)
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — for Google Analytics 4, only when you consent. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law or to defend our legal rights.

6. International transfers

Where a sub-processor operates outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or another valid transfer mechanism under Chapter V GDPR. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by writing to us.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15);
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data (Article 16);
  • ask us to erase data (Article 17);
  • ask us to restrict processing (Article 18);
  • port your data to another controller (Article 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, including server-log retention (Article 21);
  • withdraw consent at any time for analytics (Article 7(3)).

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@idevelop.dev. We will respond within one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), 28-30 G-ral Gheorghe Magheru Blvd., Sector 1, 010336 Bucharest — www.dataprotection.ro.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not carry out profiling as defined in Article 22 GDPR.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the latest version. For significant changes we will post a notice on the site.
